A California woman has been charged with child abuse after leading Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies on a car chase while her daughter was in the car. The 30-year-old woman from Pomona was charged with multiple felony accounts and seven misdemeanor counts after the high-speed pursuit. The 9-year-old daughter was in the car during the chase and hours-long standoff, which ended when law enforcement threw tear gas canisters into the car.
